City pub D.J. Quinn’s will be launching a BBQ smokehouse restaurant on Friday September 4.
The 100-seat venue in Highfield Road, Hall Green, will be serving an American-inspired menu seven days a week from 12-9pm consisting of sharers, pub classics, burgers and smoked meats.
Home-cooked roast dinners will be served every Sunday. There are also plenty of vegan and vegetarian options available.
The restaurant will feature a variety of dishes from their natural oil drum smoker.
They include Memphis-style half rack of ribs, smoked for four hours over a maple and applewood chip blend drenched with a sweet and tangy homemade BBQ sauce, and Kansas city-style beef brisket.
Head chef Anthony Duffy said: “We are really excited to be opening the smokehouse and are looking forward to welcoming everyone.”
