Award-winning pop-up The Spice Club is set to make its debut in Birmingham. A four-course Indian feast will be held at Six Eight Cafe at Millennium Point on Saturday September 26, starting at 7pm.
The venture is the brainchild of Monica Sawhney, who started Manchester’s first ever supper club, called The Supper Club, in 2010 with the help of her mother Anita, who taught her how to cook classic, flavoursome and comforting North Indian dishes.
Monica’s supper club events have continued to grow in popularity in Manchester, with a three-month queue for tables.
Guests have included the Michelin Star chef Aiden Byrne and Lasan’s Aktar Islam.
Places can be booked at www.designmynight.com/birmingham/whats-on/food-drink/the-spice-club. Ten per cent of all sales are donated to charity.
