Raw pleasures at Cheval Blanc

Moseley’s classy wine bar and kitchen Cheval Blanc is going raw this month.

On Wednesday March 8, Cheval Blanc’s head chef Cydric Tachdjian will be holding his first Raw Food Night at the venue.

The aim is to showcase the purity of produce in their simplest forms… enhanced by Cyd’s flair and technique.
The cost is £19.50 per person, with an optional drinks pairing carefully selected by Cheval Blanc manager and sommelier Abigail Connolly.

The menu

Salmon carpaccio, pickled cucumber, sour cream, dill & capers
Basil and red pepper tuna steak tartare; couscous salad
Orange duck carpaccio; fennel, carrot, micro celery salad
Cognac mayonnaise venison steak tartare; portobello, shallots, hazelnut salad
Red wine, fruit and mint soup

Free fizz

There will be a complimentary glass of cava for holders of a Les Amis de Cheval Blanc card – the free-to-join group that allows card-holders to enjoy a range of benefits.
