Find out about the next venture by former Two Cats chef Niki Astley

Stand by for another Salt & Earth pop-up showcasing the food of Niki Astley.

The event takes place on Tuesday October 24 at the Jekyll and Hyde in Steelhouse Lane in the city centre in its Gin Parlour.
Niki’s eclectic dishes are influenced by Latin American and Japanese food.

The evening costs £45 per head for four courses with canape cocktails and matching drinks.
The menu is set to feature monkfish sashimi, purple potato causa and miso, corn steamed in its husk with stinky Parmesan and smoked butter, duck, quinoa, ginger and tamarind, and coffee, chocolate, chilli and clay.
Niki won many fans for his pioneering and imaginative food at the Jewellery Quarter establishment Two Cats, which has closed.

Salt & Earth will also be serving up dishes on October 12, 13 and 14 from 6.30-9.30pm at the Kanteen in the Custard Factory in Digbeth.
