Stand by for a new great value menu at Two Cats Kitchen in the run-up to Christmas.
Chef-patron Niki Astley has revealed that the Jewellery Quarter restaurant, which has earned praise for its New Baltic cuisine, is launching a four-course lunchtime tasting menu.
The menu will be available from 12-1.30pm Tuesday to Saturday in December and will cost £30.
Niki said: “Naturally it will be festive/seasonal and most likely feature goose and fermented apples – it’s a nod to a dish from the Romanov dinner table – as no-one really needs more turkey in their life at that time.”
A four-course menu will also be available from January onwards from Tuesday to Thursday at the same price.
Nike added: “We’ll also be running a seven-course menu for £48 alongside it and have a new option for snacks/amuse bouches priced individually and entirely optional.”
December’s lunch menu
