Birmingham Hippodrome are serving a cocktail specially created by The Edgbaston to celebrate the ballet The Red Shoes.
‘To Dance? To Live!’ will be served during Sir Matthew Bournes’ production of the ballet until February 11.
The cocktail was designed by bar manager Luke Pearson and inspired by the production’s glamorous vintage feel.
It consists of Laurent Perrier Champagne, French grape spirit infused with golden plum, grape seed tincture and red poppy paint.
The cocktail has been designed around the concept of a ballet within a ballet.
On that basis The Edgbaston has created a grape within a grape drink.
