Take a look at the new afternoon tea menu at Birmingham’s glittering cocktail bar and boutique hotel The Edgbaston.
The menu is the latest offering from The Edgbaston’s head chef Olivier Briault, formerly pastry chef of nearby Simpsons Restaurant and Opus Restaurant in Birmingham city centre.
It features the contemporary touches that has won Olivier so many fans.
He comes from an impressive culinary heritage – Olivier’s father and grandfather are both pastry chefs and his dad gave him his first apron and hat when he was three.
The Edgbaston is renowned for its innovative cocktails, lavish style and luxurious afternoon teas.
Prices for afternoon tea at the award-winning The Edgbaston start at £25 a head, with Champagne options available for those who want to splash out more.
Afternoon tea is served from 12 noon until 6pm on Saturdays and from12 noon until 9pm Sunday to Friday.
