Stand by for Birmingham’s first taco and tequila festival.
Events company Taste and Liquor is staging the festival at The Lampworks in the Jewellery Quarter on Saturday May 18.
There’ll be tacos from Mexican street-food traders Chapura and El Contador and Mexican-inspired dishes from chefs from Oh Burrito and Bare Bone Churros and others on Saturday 18 May.
The Plough in Harborne will be bringing a themed bar to the event serving over 17 different types of mescal and tequila, frozen daiquiri and margaritas.
There’ll also be Mexican beer to ensure that even the spiciest of tacos go down smooth.
The Taco and Tequila festival has also teamed up with El Espolon Blanco Tequila who will be offering all advance ticket-holders a free drink on arrival.
